Our SpacePath Travelling Wave Tube Amplifiers (TWTAs) utilise third-generation high-power amplifier technology with market-leading features to streamline maintenance, drive down cost and simplify overall system operation.
Our comprehensive range of high-power amplifiers support all mission-critical satellite communication segments, including digital satellite newsgathering (DSNG), military satellite communications, large teleports, mobile applications and flyaway systems.
Unrivalled SWaP (Size, Weight and Power)
Our TWTAs are up to 40% lighter in a more compact footprint, designed for a simple retrofit. Significantly lighter weight enables a one-man lift for installation and easier access to confined spaces, driving costs down. Previously, heavy and cumbersome amps required at least a two-man team and longer time on site.

Utilising modern components in our TWTA design means a more resilient supply chain, with no reliance on obsolete parts. Redundant and power combined systems are available with a universal mounting system.
UK manufacturing with full aftermarket support
Designed and built at our manufacturing facility in Hook, UK. Backed by our worldwide technical support team, we work to a 2-week turnaround on repair work.
Outdoor TWTA product range
Outdoor antenna-mount TWTAs are engineered to consistently deliver reliable, high-efficiency performance in any environment, with 1-1 and 1-2 redundancy systems available. The advanced packaging and cooling techniques enable the unit to operate in extreme environmental conditions from direct rain to direct sunlight. The amplifiers can be simply deployed anywhere in the world, are user-friendly and incorporate a comprehensive remote control facility as standard, including RS485, RS232 and Ethernet options.

Rack-mount TWTAs incorporate an easy-to-operate, colour touch screen interface with a multi-function selector wheel. The GUI display provides clear, user-friendly status information on the amplifier’s operation, including RF output power monitoring, heater, helix monitoring, and TWT temperature. Redundancy systems are available, with set up and controlled via the built-in touch screen.

We provide compact, light-weight power amplifier system solutions, including redundancy, power combining, polarity switching, load switching filtering and combinations of these.
The universal system design enables easy installation in confined spaces. Each amplifier simply slides into place, using the unique mechanical sliders and is locked and connected with the quick release waveguide connector.
