Charity policy

ETL Systems seeks to contribute to the communities in which we live and work in a number of ways. In addition to providing employment opportunities and minimising our environmental impact, we support a variety of local community initiatives, including local schools, churches, and defence charities.

ETL have a limited corporate budget for charitable donations and strive to make a positive impact in the community and surrounding area near to our head office in Madley, Hereford or to the sectors we operate in.

We consider applications from charities and non-profit organisations that demonstrate how a donation will enhance the well-being of people through improved education, health/welfare or environment. An organisation does not need to be a registered charity, but it should be charitable.

Organisations should be; Local community, science, mathematics or electronics based or working in or around Hereford/ Madley area. Some examples of organisations that could be funded by ETL include schools, community initiatives, defence charities and hospitals.

We do not fund individuals who are looking for sponsorship for fundraising activities or initiatives that involve people participating in political organisations and campaigns or any initiative that is outside of the criteria outlined above.

Examples of how we have made a positive impact on our local community are below
