ETL Systems wins Queen’s Award for second time

Global specialist satellite engineering company, ETL Systems, has won the prestigious Queen’s Award for Enterprise for the second time.

The award recognises outstanding growth in International trade and ETL’s continued sales increase, which has averaged 40% per year since 2005, means it has the rare accolade of being a double winner.

ETL’s strong team is based near the BT Teleport at Madley, Hereford, at a purpose built factory, and they design and manufacture specialist satellite handling equipment.

They are used by broadcasters & satellite operators to handle multiple satellite signals and main customers include the BBC, Eutelsat and CNN.

In addition to attending an important presentation by one of the Queen’s representatives, ETL Systems will also be allowed to fly the prestigious Award flag and use the coveted emblem on stationary, advertising and their products for the next five years.

“Winning the Queen’s Award for the second time is a huge honour and has been made possible by the continued dedication of all our staff. As a result ETL Systems has quickly become one of the leading worldwide suppliers to broadcasters as well as to military and government customers. The Queen’s Award reflects the success of our new range of leading edge products, such as the Enigma Switch matrix, which are driving sales to all parts of the world. We look forward to maintaining this growth, as new markets such as HDTV, require even greater satellite signal routing."

Ian Hilditch, Managing Director, ETL Systems.
