Elliott - Junior Test Engineer

Meet Elliott! Elliott is our junior RF test engineer and has been part of the apprentice process at ETL. We asked him a bit more about his role and time at ETL

Why did you want to become an apprentice?

I started an apprenticeship at ETL because I wanted to learn on the job and I thought I would gain more by doing. I like working at ETL because it has a friendly atmosphere and the hours are very sociable!

Tell me about your first day at ETL

On my first day I had an induction and got started in the Production Components team straight away, it was a very busy time for the team – I think it’s still the record month now, over 4 years later.

How have you progressed during your time at ETL?

Since working at ETL my responsibilities have increased from building component products to testing them to ensure they are working correctly. Following my apprenticeship, I gained full time employment at ETL, and there are further development opportunities if I would like to progress.
