L-band Matrix with LNB Power(downlink) 8 x 16


  • Description

    TheĀ L-band distributive matrix is a high performance switch matrix (or router) with up to 8 inputs and 16 outputs, integrated hot swap power supplies in a 2U high shelf. The matrix design has been optimised for earth stations which are non-symmetric in terms of number of inputs and outputs.

    The unit is supplied with 75 ohm F-type connectors, but a range of connector types and impedances are available.

  • Matrix Types

    Non-blocking: this means any input can be routed to any output.

    Full Fan-out Matrix (or fully distributive or splitting matrix): any input can be routed to any output. One input can be routed to many outputs. Each output can only have one input. Tends to be more RX.

    In general, our solid state (L-band) matrices are non-blocking.
