About your new role

Reporting directly to our Senior NPI Technician, you will gain valuable experience working in of our Test & Assembly department. Building the latest Satellite Communication test equipment in the market today, you will also have the opportunity to further support our advances in technology and help build prototype new products for testing.

Key responsibilities include:

• Construction of wiring looms
• Construction of Production and prototype chassis
• Soldering and modification of printed circuit boards to IPC-610
• Construction of test jigs
• Compiling and assembly of simple bills of materials
• Mechanical modification to housings as necessary
• Test and measurement of circuits using instruments such as VNA, Oscilloscope, DVM
• Provide technical assistance in resolving engineering problems
• Arrange ordering of equipment, parts and lab supplies as necessary
• Ensuring all Engineering Lab equipment is functional and arranging repair as necessary

What we need from you:

• Technical qualification or equivalent experience
• Strong interest in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering
• Soldering skills (IPC-610 standard)
