• Description

  Model GRF-087 is a 2 x 1 ASI Redundancy Switch module to the output with 1:3 distribution amplifier. Switch over based on Carrier Presence. Manual switchover is also available. The module is designed to be housed in the 1U high Griffin GRF-C900-1U chassis, with 2 module slots for multiple configurations.

  Switch modules can be switched independently (individual mode) or together (simultaneous mode). Switching may be triggered by front panel, RF level detection, alarm contacts or NMS. When operating in Auto mode, modules with RF level detection will switch from main to standby on detection of a fault on the main. Switch back to the main path is configurable. The default setting is for the unit to latch to the standby path and not automatically switch back to the main path if the RF signal is restored.
