Queens Award won again for 2009

Queen’s Award for Enterprise 2009 won by ETL Systems

 

Specialist satellite engineering company, ETL Systems, has just announced it has won the prestigious Queen’s Award for Enterprise 2009.

 

This award recognises outstanding growth in International trade.  ETL’s impressive sales increase, averaging 40% per year since 2005, ticks the box and their satellite equipment is now being used by broadcasters & teleports around Europe, Asia, Africa and the US.

 

ETL designs and builds high quality RF signal handling equipment. This ranges from Distribution Amplifiers through to complex L-band Matrices. Its award winning Enigma Matrix is used by customers such as CNN, Mediaset, Eutelsat and the BBC for multiple satellite downlink feeds.  

 

He continues “We have over 400 product designs to build on and our commercial and defence customers give us plenty of challenges to adapt these to their SatCom requirements. Whether it is slope compensation challenges, variable gain issues or passing DC, our team can find a solution. ”

 

The 50 strong business is located close to the BT satellite earth station at Madley in England and its purpose built secure factory offers 3D mechanical, RF and Microwave CAD design, along with full testing facilities.

 

ETL Systems now looks forward to using the prestigious Award logo for the next five years, as well as attending a Royal Ceremony at Buckingham Palace in London.
