The most commonly used ETL controller is the Matrix Controller, which is used to control matrix systems (multi-modules) and also to control the larger 32x32 IF and L-band matrix switch. Most controllers have a serial interface (RS232 or RS 485) although ethernet interface is increasingly requested allowing remote access via TCP/IP.
