Amplifier

ETL has a broad and sophisticated Amplifier range which covers IF and L-band generally. The Amplifier can be fixed gain or variable gain, and dual redundant amplifiers are also available.

IF Equalisers and L-band Equalisers which provide slope compensation (typically to compensate for cable losses and negative slope) are also available.

AGC Amplifiers (Automatic Gain Control) and ALC Amplifiers (Automatic Level Control), are also available when constant signals into an RF chain are required despite varying received levels.

At the smaller end of the Amplifier range are 19" shelves with one or two amplifier channels. Again these may be dual redundant (such as model 2544 and 2547). The ETL Modular System model 26128 can hold up to 16 RF modules and these include stand alone L-band Variable Gain Amplifiers with Slope Compensation (model AMP101), L-band Variable Gain Amplifiers with Dual Redundant Amplifiers (model AMP102), as well as splitters and combiners which also feature variable gain and variable slope compensation.
