Redundancy switching is a critical feature for many satellite ground stations, and ETL have developed a number of redundancy switch products to meet specific customer requirements. The L-band redundancy switch includes RF detection on both channels and auto switch-over to the standby in the event of signal failure.
ETL have also built matrix redundancy switches comprising a pair of matrices with a redundancy switch system allowing switch-over from one matrix to the other.
ETL incorporate redundancy switching into Block Down Converters, Fibre Optic links, splitters and other products based on RF detection and / or amplifier current monitoring.
ETL switches are available with BNC 50Ω, BNC 75Ω, F-type 75Ω, N-type 50Ω and SMA 50Ω connectors.
L-band Switch - Redundancy 2x1 with dual redundant power supplies. Local and remote control via Ethernet (RJ45) or serial port (RS232/485)
The ETL Modular System chassis holds up to 16 off 2 x 1 L-band redundancy switch cards. Each switch card incorporates RF detection on the inputs, 0db fixed gain, and LNB powering (13/18/0V DC, 22KHz on/off).
2x2 DC-6GHz Switch with dual redundant power supplies. Local & remote control via external alarm contacts.
