Case Study - UK domestic broadcaster establishing a TVRO playout centre
This UK domestic broadcaster was establishing a new TVRO playout centre in Scotland and needed flexibility and efficiency in the allocation of antenna feeds to receivers - helping them to keep track of global broadcasts, and to receive feeds from their reporters and sporting events.
They selected the NiGMa switch matrix to provide this flexibility. The Satellite Operations Manager recently said: "We already have one ETL NiGMa matrix in service.... We are very pleased with the performance of the unit...... This is why I always default to ETL for RF switching and distribution systems."
