Amplifiers with built in Redundancies

ETL-3400 series cover a range of high performance amplifier modules with built in redundancy. These modules are suitable in applications where reliability is paramount. There are two different topologies: switched redundancy and combined amp modules. In the former there are main and stand by amplifiers. The signal is automatically switched over upon detection of a failure. In the latter multiple amplifiers are used and a failure results in a small reduction in signal levels rather than loss of the signal.

Applications: Typical fields of applications are telecom infrastructures, satellite systems, microwave links, test and instrumentation, military comms and radar networks.
